Physical Challenges Play better and with less pain. Dr. Zyg's specializes in making custom modifications to accommodate unique physical challenges and limitations. We have assisted players by creating prosthetic modifications and attachments for their instruments. Please contact us to address your specific needs. Dr. Zyg is not a medical doctor and does not provide medical advice. Zyg and some of his students consult the UConn Health Center for the treatment of musician-related injuries. If appropriate to your situation, we will work with your doctor to design the right solution for you. |
Learning Challenges We also teach students with learning disabilities, dyslexia and other challenges. Studies have shown that music education provides many benefits (see MENC.org for examples).
